The Opportunity
As an Android Engineer, you’ll be part of the core wallet team responsible for building and refining one of the world’s most widely used crypto wallets. You’ll work across design, backend, and QA to deliver polished, reliable features used by millions.
This is a hands-on, product-driven role ideal for engineers who love ownership, autonomy, and building things people actually use.
What You’ll Do
- Design, build, and iterate features in a high-traffic, multichain wallet app
- Maintain and refactor legacy code for performance and reliability
- Collaborate closely with design, backend, and product teams to deliver end-to-end experiences
- Contribute to SDKs and supporting wallet applications
- Uphold high standards in code quality, testing, and architectural best practices
What You Bring
Core Skills & Experience
- ~3+ years of Android development experience using Kotlin
- Strong grasp of Android architecture and design patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture)
- Experience targeting multiple Android API levels (6+)
- Proficiency with multithreading and reactive frameworks (RxJava, Flow, Coroutines)
- Experience with persistence layers (Room or similar)
- Skilled in writing maintainable, testable, and modular code
- Confident working with large, existing codebases
- Familiarity with SOLID principles and clean code practices
- Self-driven: able to derive technical solutions from product goals
- Collaborative mindset across cross-functional teams
- Ability to code without AI assistance
Bonus Points
- Experience with Jetpack libraries (Compose, Navigation, Paging)
- Knowledge of KMP or Rust Multiplatform
- Familiarity with Hilt / Dagger dependency injection
- Background in crypto / blockchain fundamentals (keys, UTXO, Web3)
- Experience optimizing app performance with Android profiling tools
- Exposure to WebView/JS bridge communication
- CI/CD pipeline experience for Android releases
- Passion for fintech or crypto, especially wallets or payment systems
Education
- BA / BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
