Fogo Foundation is hiring a CFO to lead the design and execution of the Fogo Foundation’s financial strategy. The CFO will oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow modeling, treasury operations, and key banking and crypto relationships to ensure long-term stability and support the network’s growth.

Remote Work: Our team is spread across the globe, from the US and South America to Europe and Asia, with an optional office in Porto, Portugal, and Singapore. Remote work is the norm here.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of the Fogo Foundation’s financial strategy, ensuring a strong and scalable finance function.

• Own budgeting and forecasting, providing clear visibility and guidance on the Foundation’s financial position.

• Design and maintain cash-flow models and reinvestment programs to support long-term growth and sustainability.

• Build and manage the Finance team within the Foundation, setting standards for operational excellence.

• Establish and oversee treasury operations, including banking, fiat, and crypto rails, and investment relationships.

• Manage the daily operations of a well-funded treasury, ensuring liabilities are matched and capital is deployed effectively.

• Identify, create, and lead new financial workstreams as the Foundation scales and the treasury grows.

Desired Skills and Experience

• 10+ years in finance, treasury, or related leadership roles.

• Background in traditional finance with proven transition into crypto and digital assets.

• Strong expertise in treasury management, fiat/crypto payment rails, and investments.

• Skilled in budgeting, forecasting, and liquidity planning.

• Experience building and leading high-performing finance teams.

• Familiar with international structures and digital asset regulations.

• Cayman-based or willing to relocate; alternatively, non-US but ideally in the Eastern Time Zone.
