As a TechOps (IT) Engineer, your role will be critical to maintaining a stable, reliable technical infrastructure. You will be responsible for monitoring the organization's systems, networks, and hardware to ensure they operate optimally and remain available to users.
What you'll do:
- Monitor and troubleshoot the organization's systems, networks, and applications to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Proactively identify and resolve technical issues, incidents, and outages to minimize downtime and ensure a seamless user experience.
- Perform system administration tasks, including server configuration, maintenance, and upgrades.
- Conduct software and asset inventory audits and take appropriate actions to protect the organization's infrastructure and data.
- Develop the documentation, including system configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and processes to improve system performance, scalability, and reliability.
What you will bring:
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience as an IT Engineer
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills;
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Working experience in ticketing systems (Jira); networking systems like firewalls, switches, and servers (Squid/PXE); SaaS applications (Google Workspace, Jumpcloud, Cloudflare, etc.)
- Proficiency in Windows, Linux environments, and scripting
- Strong knowledge of systems administration, networking, and IT infrastructure
- Comfortable working in shifts on a rotational basis to provide 24/7 support
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) is a plus.
- Experience in handling CCTV and Biometrics is a plus.
