The Opportunity

CoinDesk is seeking a high-performing self-starter to be responsible for global research and press release sales based in London. CoinDesk’s best-in-class Research product attracts Layer-1s, exchanges, stablecoins, finance, and numerous other sectors as clients and delivers the depth of reporting and platform amplification unmatched in the industry. CoinDesk’s media platform is the most trusted in the crypto industry, and its audience is the largest and most valuable. As such, the Press Release product is key to clients’ communications strategies. As a key member of CoinDesk’s global Partnerships team, the person in this role will identify and win new accounts and coordinate with the global Research, Partnerships, and Digital Operations teams, while becoming an expert in data, research, and client marketing. The person who will thrive in this role has a proven history of creating opportunities and earning the trust of clients.

This role reports to the Head of Partnerships, EMEA & APAC based in London.

What You’ll Do

• Build relationships with decision makers at target accounts.

• Work directly with the CoinDesk Research team to propose the right solution for our clients.

• Work directly with Partnerships and Digital Operations on the best pricing and packaging for Press Release clients.

• Regularly achieve and exceed sales targets.

• Positive and productive collaboration with the global Partnerships team is vital, as there will frequently be shared accounts. We thrive as a team.

• This is a newly established role, requiring someone who thrives in an autonomous environment and can independently own the full end-to-end sales cycle.

What You Have

•  5+ years of client facing sales experience within crypto, finance, information services, media and/or tech sectors.

• Knowledge of the crypto industry and underlying technology.

• Must prove an ability to self-manage and self-start.

• Attention to detail and internal reporting skills are critical.

• Proficient in A.I., Salesforce, Excel, Powerpoint, Slack, G Suite.

• Multi-lingual a bonus; English is a must.
