As a Development Team Leader, you will be responsible for guiding and mentoring a high-performing development team to deliver innovative software solutions.
This leadership role involves overseeing the software development lifecycle, continuously improving processes, and fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented engineering culture.
As a Team Leader, you will ensure that technical solutions align with business objectives while overseeing production operations, system monitoring, and incident management.

🤝 Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and support a geographically distributed team of developers across Europe, providing regular coaching, feedback, and opportunities for technical and professional growth to consistently achieve high-quality software delivery.

• Oversee the software development lifecycle, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and technical design principles.

• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define project scope, technical requirements, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals.

• Improve development processes, including automating CI/CD pipelines, and conducting thorough code reviews to maintain quality.

• Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance by defining best practices for monitoring, alerting, and production readiness.

• Take ownership of incident management, leading efforts for swift issue resolution while fostering a culture of proactive problem-solving across teams.

• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between development, operations, and other teams to ensure alignment and shared objectives.

• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, driving innovation within the team and the organization.

• Take an active role in hiring, onboarding, and training new team members, ensuring they integrate smoothly into the team’s collaborative culture.

🔎 We are looking for someone with:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior role.

• Strong proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Javascript and/or Rust.

• Experience with software architecture, design patterns, and implementing scalable, maintainable solutions.

• Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure, DevOps principles, and monitoring tools.

• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and continuous improvement processes.

• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

• Proven ability to foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and personal growth within a team.

💪 Preferred Skills:

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

• Exposure to both front-end and back-end technologies, understanding full-stack development.

• Knowledge of security best practices and how to apply them in software development.

• Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
