AI Agentic Software Engineer (Python)

Responsibilities

• Manage production incidents and conduct post-mortems to improve system stability and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure smooth application and system deployments.
• Maintain and optimize cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Alicloud) for performance, cost-efficiency, and availability.
• Administer and scale Kubernetes clusters (primarily EKS) to support web service deployments.
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, and AI/LLM-based automation.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management with tools like Terraform and Python.

Requirements

• Minimally 5 years of hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g. Cloudfront, EKS, VPC, S3, ALB) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).

• Strong practical knowledge of Kubernetes, especially managed services like EKS.

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, Bash or Go.

• Experienced in managing high traffic/ volume.

• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and system performance tuning.

• Experience with DevOps tools and platforms such as Terraform, Ansible, Docker, and Linux.

• Solid understanding of networking protocols and security best practices.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to effectively coordinate with international stakeholders and teams.

• Preferred:

• Practical experience applying AI models or tools to solve real-world operational challenges and enhance deployment workflows.

• Passion for exploring new technologies and integrating them into daily operations to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
