About Paxos

Today’s financial infrastructure is archaic, expensive, inefficient and risky — supporting a system that leaves out more people than it lets in. So we’re rebuilding it.

We’re on a mission to open the world’s financial system to everyone by enabling the instant movement of any asset, any time, in a trustworthy way. For over a decade, we’ve built blockchain infrastructure that tokenizes, custodies, trades and settles assets for the world’s leading financial institutions, like Mastercard, Visa, Robinhood, and PayPal.

The Team

Our Compliance team is a cornerstone of Paxos’ trusted, regulated infrastructure, ensuring we meet the highest standards of oversight while enabling responsible innovation. The team combines deep regulatory expertise with a practical understanding of blockchain and financial markets to design and run robust, scalable compliance programs. We partner closely with business and product teams to build solutions that protect our customers and our company, while supporting sustainable growth across both traditional and digital asset environments

The Opportunity

In this role, you'll lead the delivery, implementation, and continuous improvement of Compliance's internal tools and operational processes. You'll partner closely with Compliance SMEs, Product, Engineering, Data, and third-party vendors to translate compliance requirements into well-defined technology solutions that are delivered on schedule, thoroughly tested, and successfully adopted by the Compliance team. In addition, you'll drive initiatives that strengthen Compliance operations, including AI enablement, vendor management, KPI and operational reporting, resource planning, process improvements, training, and change management to help the team scale effectively.

What You'll Do

  • Own the roadmap and delivery of Compliance- tooling and technology initiatives, partnering with Product and Engineering to prioritize work, track timelines, and ensure delivered solutions meet Compliance requirements.

  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of Compliance technology initiatives, including intake, prioritization, backlog management, roadmap planning, UAT, launch readiness, rollout, and post-launch support.

  • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), validate delivered functionality against business requirements, and ensure implementation evidence is documented in an audit-ready manner.

  • Serve as the primary liaison between Compliance, Product, Engineering, Data, and technology vendors for Compliance tooling.

  • Manage relationships with Compliance vendors, including feature requests, issue escalation, roadmap discussions, and implementation planning.

  • Lead implementation and adoption of new Compliance tools, including communications, training, documentation, and change management.

  • Identify opportunities to improve Compliance processes through automation, AI, and workflow enhancements.

  • Develop and maintain operational dashboards, KPI reporting, and materials for weekly operational reviews and leadership reporting.

  • Coordinate resource planning, project tracking, and dependencies across Compliance initiatives.

  • Support regulatory exams, audits, and issue remediation efforts by maintaining accurate implementation documentation and evidence.

About You

  • 5–8 years of experience in Compliance, Financial Crimes, Risk, Product Operations, Product Compliance, or Program Management within financial services, fintech, or digital assets.

  • Strong working knowledge of BSA/AML and OFAC sanctions requirements, with the ability to research and apply regulatory requirements to operational and technology initiatives.

  • Experience supporting the full technology delivery lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design reviews, UAT, launch readiness, and post-launch enhancements.

  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional projects involving Compliance, Product, Engineering, and Operations, with ownership of timelines, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder communications.

  • Strong project management skills, including roadmap planning, intake and prioritization, Jira management, dependency tracking, UAT coordination, rollout planning, and documentation.

  • Ability to translate business and regulatory requirements into clear product requirements and testable acceptance criteria.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience developing procedures, UAT plans, implementation documentation, status reporting, and executive updates.

  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities, and escalating risks and trade-offs appropriately.

  • Demonstrated interest in using AI tools, workflow automation, and emerging technologies to improve Compliance operations.
