Role Overview:

Fusang is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Full Stack TypeScript Developer to join our team. This role involves designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge full-stack applications, encompassing both frontend and backend development, using modern TypeScript. You will be a foundational member of a high-energy team, contributing to the entire development lifecycle and pushing boundaries with new tools and techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full-Stack Application Development: Design, develop, and deploy resilient and high-performance full-stack applications using TypeScript as the primary language.
• Backend Engineering: Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs. Primarily utilize Node.js frameworks like Express, Hono, or other high-performance TypeScript solutions to power our applications.
• Frontend Excellence: Drive the creation of intuitive and responsive user interfaces. Leverage modern frontend frameworks and libraries such as React and Next.js.
• Data Management & Integration: Design and implement efficient database schemas, ensure seamless data integration, and optimize database performance to support application needs.
• End-to-End Development Lifecycle: Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from ideation and prototyping to development, testing, deployment, and post-release support.
• Automation & Tooling: Develop scripts and automation tools to streamline development processes.
• Technical Innovation: Actively explore and integrate new tools, techniques, and innovative ideas into projects.

Required Qualifications:

• Education & Experience: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field with at least 5 years of hands-on application development experience.
• TypeScript Expertise: Strong proficiency with TypeScript, demonstrating solid understanding of type systems and their practical application
• js Backend Development: Strong hands-on experience building backend services with Node.js using frameworks such as Express, or Hono, including REST API development, data handling, authentication, and database integration
• Database Architecture: Strong experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar) including schema design, query optimization, data modelling, and database architecture decisions; familiarity with ORMs such as Prisma or Drizzle
• API Design & Architecture: Strong experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs or GraphQL with proper architecture, structure, documentation, and best practices
• Frontend Familiarity: Basic familiarity with React and Next.js; able to understand frontend code and collaborate effectively with frontend developers
• AI-Assisted Development: Proficiency with AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot is essential—this is a core part of how we build software at Fusang
