Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
Job Objective
Provide administrative & maintenance support so as to deliver good quality fund administration services with efficiency and without any compromise to risk control to both external and internal customers.
Responsibilities
- Perform fund valuation and net asset value reconciliation
- Perform general ledger and transaction input
- Assist to liaise with auditor on Fund audit work
- Update subscription and redemption records are properly in the system
- Handle enquiries from fund manager in an efficient manner
- Perform stock and cash reconciliation and ensure fees and expenses are properly accrued
- Adhere to the operating procedures, and comply with company requirements, regulatory requirements (e.g. HKMA, MAS, etc) and Audit / Risk Management guidelines pertaining to the operations
- Report any suspicious / outstanding transaction or incident to Team Head, Department Head and other relevant parties for necessary action per the Incident Management Policy
- Participate in user acceptance test for system enhancements. Review business requirements and functional specifications. Prepare test cases and conduct testing
- Participate in project initiatives and business development, e.g. customer implementation, business continuity management, review of operational procedures, policies and guidelines; specific and job related training, etc.
- Handle regular and ad hoc tasks as designed by Team Head and Department Head.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in fund accounting or a similar role
- Proficient in financial analysis, data management, and problem-solving
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
